People: Figurative Work from Roberson's Collections

Roberson is pleased to feature the many faces and figures that live within our collections.

Open August 8, 2021 – October 31, 2021.
Re-Opens January 2022 – October 2022.

“People” is filled with personalities. For each visitor that steps into this space, it’s a chance meeting with someone maybe long past or with a self-portrait of an artist living right down the street.
Some of these figures tell a story through body language, expressions, attitudes, and titles. And like meeting a stranger for the first time, what kind of impression they make might be received differently by each visitor. Some faces may stand out, while others fade into the background.
“People” explores these lasting impressions that live on through sculptures, self-portraits, paintings, and sketches.
