“I love when I’m allowed to use my skills and imagination to make up an arrangement. So many of the arrangements I make are already designed and I’m just putting the flowers where they need to go. I got interested in Arts Abloom because the artists provide the inspiration and I provide the imagination.”

“The entire concept of Arts Abloom is what it’s all about for me — local artists coming together to celebrate, challenge & inspire one another. One of the most common things my customers say to me is that they have “no creativity;” I always have to rebuke them as I believe most everyone has some channel of creativity running within them — the task is to figure out how to access it. I’m so excited to have this opportunity to push the boundaries of my skills and my medium, nature. Arts A’Bloom challenges us to expand our view of what “art” and an “artist” is, and showcases the impressive range of talent in our region.”

meet the Artists

Joshua Lasky Unexpected Passion

On view through October 18, 2026

Embracing the aesthetic of master painters and photography pioneers, Joshua Lasky’s bold portraits blur the line between photo and painting to create a wholly unique style. In this solo exhibition Lasky shares the series of photographs that ignited his unexpected passion for capturing light and the human condition.

Alexandra Davis Resurgence

On view through October 25, 2026

In Resurgence, Alexandra Davis explores the intersections of time, memory, and human endeavor through intaglio prints on shaped plates in shifting configurations. Her compositions evoke fractured land masses drifting across vast geological time, placing human experience within the immense scale of the Earth’s history.

Don DeMauro SPOOL/LOOPS: Suturing Time

On view through October 11, 2026

For Don DeMauro, the body is, by its existential nature, nomadic and migrates to the figural.  Art is equally anatomical and political, personal and social. The body is the site of conception and sensation. Art mediates and interprets through line, shape, plane, tone and color. This dialectical tension determines the responsibility and choice necessary for an aesthetic and social formation.
