Start your First Friday evening with Sketching in the Gallery! Join local, professional artist Rich Harrington for a one-evening workshop, or a series of four evenings (April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7). Along with teaching at SUNY Broome for over 19 years, Rich has taught many workshops with participants of all ages and skill levels. He will use his expertise to guide you through our exhibits and galleries. This is an opportunity to enjoy our collections while also being creative!
Better Smartphone Photography
Sunday, June 4, 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Let’s level up our smartphone snapshots. We will cover techniques that will help students get better results from their smartphone cameras, including how to set up a phone for optimal results, best practices for composition, how to find and add light photos, and more.
This class will be conducted on iPhones, however many of the techniques are applicable to all mobile photography.
