Allegory, Symbol, and Vision

“I Began to Believe There Was Something Odd About Them” by Wayne Claypatch

Allegory, Symbol, and Vision is a selection of works rich in symbols, parables, and personal stories.

Many of these pieces are weighted in personal struggles, showing how art can be used as an outlet to speak a mind’s truth.

Two pieces by Joseph Mender are sketches of a possible future Lithuanian currency, aimed at protesting the subjugation of his country. Intended for a future liberated Lithuania, free of Soviet occupation.

Visitors will see embroideries, sculptures, drawings, and painting–all with a bent toward the surreal.
