Path Through History Weekend: Touring Roberson’s Gilded Past

This Path Through History Weekend, Roberson is offering both in-person and virtual tours through selected parts of the Museum and Mansion. In each tour, we’ll be going into the Museum’s more hidden parts to hear its stories and history.

Virtual Tour

What: For this Path Through History, we will take you on a virtual walk through Roberson’s past. Have you visited Roberson when the Link organ was in use? In this virtual tour, we will view this organ in its current gallery, and then explore the secrets of the Link Organ hidden deep behind the locked rooms of the museum. What remnants of Roberson’s past can still be seen today? Tour also includes a brief virtual tour of the historic Roberson Mansion.
Limit 25 participants per time-slot
Admission: $6.00 for Non-Members; Free for Roberson Members

In Person Tour

What: For this Path Through History weekend, join us for a tour of Roberson’s past. We will take you on a guided tour of the historic Roberson Mansion, celebrating the lives of Alonzo and Margaret as well as the servants that worked and lived on the premises. We will then view the Link Organ in its current gallery and discuss the contributions of Edwin A. Link to our community. Learn how and where the organ was previously integrated within the museum. At the end of the tour, you will receive a link to video footage of the original Link Organ pipes that still reside behind closed doors of the museum.

Admission: $8 adults; $6 Students, military, seniors; Roberson Members FREE; Children 4 & under free
Digital Planetarium Shows: Planetarium shows featuring the history of aviation, the invention of the telescope, and astronomy in ancient cultures will run at 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm for an additional $4 per show. (Members are always free)
