About the Instructor:

Although Kathy has studied professionally, she feels she has learned much more from her self taught role in the decorative art field. She has attended many conventions and hundreds of workshops, taking away the most important skill of teaching. Kathy has been a successful art instructor for over 30 years. Most recognised for her Old Master Techniques, she teaches in a variety of mediums including  oil, watercolor, pastel and drawing. Some of the subjects she enjoys working with are portraits of humans, animals, and still life.

For the past 15 years she has taught at Broome Community College. She also teaches weekly as well as holds workshops at hyer studio, Studio Six, in Binghamton NY. Kathy has also travel taught.Kathy’s work has been in numerous galley shows on the east coast of the United States as well as Canada and Russia.You can find collections of her work in the United States, France, Germany, Canada, and Russia.
