First Friday Lecture: Musical Scarves and Electric Bongo Trumpets

$4An annual project in Binghamton University’s department of Electrical and Computer Engineering challenges
students to invent unusual electronic musical instruments, and solve the engineering and programming problems
needed to build them and make them work. This talk will present several examples, and explore the mathematics
and science behind the synthesis of music and the design of electronic instruments.
**First Friday admission is $4 which includes a planetarium show; members are free.**
