Earth From Space

Earth from Space is a 20-poster exhibition that gives visitors a orbital perspective of rare views of Earth events, such as the swirling arms of a massive hurricane to the ecological effects from human activity.

Satellite technology offers us a way to document major events and changes happening on Earth. These posters are certain to provide visitors with a new perspective and provoke questions about our only home in space.

Earth From Space is located in the Carousel Theater on the first floor of Roberson Museum.

Support provided by the general operations support grants from the United Cultural Fund, a program of the Broome County Arts Council; the Conrad and Virginia Klee Foundation; the Zoos, Botanical Gardens and Aquariums Program, administered by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreational, and Historical Preservation; and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
