Horror and Hijinks: Writing Your Own LARP with Carcosa Creations
June 5, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Free – $12
In this 2 hour workshop, Kevin and Min Kreiner will walk you through writing your very own live action role-playing game (LARP).
Nothing brings people together more than a mystery and a little horror. You can assume a persona, dress up, and play out a scenario with a group of friends whether you’re near or far–what could be more fun! If you’ve ever wanted to be the master pulling the strings behind one of these games, this workshop is for you!
Over the course of this 2-hour workshop game design duo, Min and Kevin of Carcosa Creations will guide you through the process of outlining, writing, and running your own LARP.
LARPing, or Live Action Role Playing games, are a wonderful, flexible method of expression that allows you to explore the things that make us terrified in the dark.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Come and join us on June 5th for a workshop where you can learn the secrets to making a great horror LARP! Not a LARPer? That’s okay! Many of these tips can easily be applied to running a murder mystery, Call of Cthulhu, Dread, and other horror role playing games!
