Shadow People: The Art of Silhouettes

October 21, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Silhouette of Chauncy Sr. - Roberson Collections

We’re exploring the art of silhouettes during this month’s “Tipsy Art History” talk on Zoom.

October, we’re going into the vault to check out some collection pieces not on-view to the public. After diving head-first into the deceptively simple world of silhouettes, where every detail lives at its fringes, hides its most revealing nature in absence–in what it does not show. Enjoy this talk from the comfort of your own home.
