How to Speak with the Dead: History of Spiritualism

October 29, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Death holds mysteries. And in the 19th Century, groups of people started to believe there could be a world hidden from our senses–a world we could communicate with. New technologies coupled with a Civil War began an exploration into what could lie beyond our natural senses.

In this online lecture, we’ll explore how Victorians called upon the dead, as well as stepping back to explore the origins of the Spiritualist movement.

Registration is $8 for non-members; Free for Roberson Members.
